To inform members of your Space that their badge requests have been reviewed or that a badge has been issued to them, you must enable the option 'Allow sending email notifications when applications are reviewed or badges are issued ' in the environment settings: Manage Space / Settings / Other space settings.

If this option is enabled, the members concerned will receive a notification when:
- A badge has been issued to them;
- Their badge application has been submitted for review (Note: Applicants will only receive a confirmation email if the badge application creator has configured the "New Application Submitted" message template in Open Badge Factory.);
- Their badge request has been reviewed.
Badge requests returned for revision
When a badge application is returned for revision, members are notified through their Space's weekly report.
Prerequisite: Members must have the "Receive weekly report" option enabled in their notification settings to receive these updates.
