How to add your Open Badge to your email signature?

Showcase your skills and credentials by displaying your Open Badge, a verified digital credential, in your email signature. This professional addition to your email communications allows others to instantly verify your qualifications. Follow our simple guide to add your badge to email signatures. 


From the badge delivery email

  1. In the badge delivery email, click on the link to open the badge acceptance page. Once the page is open, right-click on the image and Copy image.
  2. Once the image has been copied, paste it in the Signature block in your mailbox settings (resize the image if necessary).
  3. Return to the badge acceptance page, click on Copy in the Share Badge section to copy the URL of the badge.
  4. In your mailbox, click on the badge image in the signature block and then use the Add a link button to paste the URL
  5. Save your signature settings.



From your Open Badge Passport account

  1. Connect to your account and open your badge.
  2. Use the Download tab do download the badge image (see screenshot below).
  3. In the Share tab, copy the Share Link (see screenshot below).
  4. Add the dowloaded badge image in the Signature block in your mailbox settings (resize the image if necessary).
  5. Paste the Share Link on the badge image.
  6. Save your signature settings.
